This study on school-related gender-based violence (SRGBV) in Sierra Leone was carried out by a coalition of international NGOs: Concern Worldwide, Plan Sierra Leone, IBIS and Catholic Relief Services (CRS).

The main objective of this study is to contribute to efforts aiming at enhancing children's access to quality basic education and strengthening protection against GBV in and on the way to school. The results of the study will inform advocacy initiatives and development of interventions aiming at enhancing the protection against SRGBV.

The report makes several recommendations for the media, school management, civil society organisations (CSOs) and NGOs, law enforcement bodies and the executive and relevant line ministries in Sierra Leone.
