This multi-sectoral project, involving nutrition-specific and nutrition-sensitive interventions and cross-sectoral coordination, was successfully established in a drought-affected community and achieved impact.

This project, funded by ECHO emergency response funding, was implemented by Concern and Welthungerhilfe (WHH). The project aimed to reduce undernutrition prevalence to below-emergency thresholds. At the end of the project, Concern continued the nutrition-specific components (i.e. CMAM) which helped to stabilise the undernutrition situations in the area by avoiding a break in service.
