This analysis considers reports on emergency interventions in which Concern has been involved between 1990 and 2001.

This analysis has been carried out to identify common issues arising from the emergency responses and to identify lessons which need to be learned if we are to establish more effective interventions and break the perception that we repeatedly make the same mistakes when responding to emergencies.

In so doing, it is hoped that this report will contribute to the consolidation and dissemination of the knowledge acquired from recent emergencies, and so increase institutional memory.
