On World Humanitarian Day Concern pays tribute to aid workers dedicated to alleviating suffering and working to prevent escalation of violence in conflict situations

The global weather phenomenon known as “El Niño”, which is responsible for causing weather-induced disasters such as floods, hurricanes, drought and famine, is predicted to strike this year. Concern Worldwide is working with communities to prepare for this.

The first phase of Concern Worldwide’s conservation agriculture programme in Malawi and Zambia came to an end in August 2013. The joint country initiative was funded by Accenture and the Accenture Foundations.  

The war in Syria has forced millions of innocent people to flee their homes, leaving behind their belongings, livelihoods and dreams.

Concern Worldwide is training people in farming techniques which are easier, cheaper and increase yields for farmers.
