This was no way for a family to live but, with your help, Concern has been able to provide life-saving essentials to Rana and her loved ones. We will continue to check in on the family to make sure they receive the support they need.
Our shelter programme provides vital resources to families like Rana’s, who can often struggle to make ends meet in such trying circumstances.
Last year, your support has enabled us to help more than 55,000 Syrian refugees in Lebanon.
We have also helped thousands of Syrian families through the provision of safe drinking water, helping men and women find safe work and giving Syrian children the chance of an education and brighter future.
“Concern have given us tarpaulins, mattresses, blankets and diapers. The team regularly visit us and see what we need,” Rana explains.
Giving Rana the means to look after her children has empowered her and enabled her to live with dignity.
Families like hers know that the supplies they receive arrive as a result of the kindness of people in countries like Ireland, and it means so much to them to know how much people thousands of miles away care about them.
Thank you.
