Individual philanthropists, trusts and foundations are so important to us. They help us to achieve sustainable and effective change and have a huge impact on the lives of the world's poorest people.
By contributing a major gift of €5,000 or more each year, you are investing in a future without hunger or poverty. Our experienced team will work with you to meet your individual needs and acknowledge your support in the most meaningful way to you, your family and your friends.
One of our dedicated major gift team members will guide you through the process and keep you updated on the impact of your support. You will have access to our work through exclusive updates from the field, opportunities to meet with Concern staff and priority invites to donor events, such as Women of Concern. Some of our major givers may also have the opportunity to visit the projects and programmes they are supporting overseas.
You can choose to make a one-off donation of €5,000 or provide funding over a number of years. You can choose for your money to be spent where the need is greatest or you can fund a specific project.
You can fund projects on your own or in a group with family, friends or colleagues. We will work with you to find a project that you feel passionate about and, with your help, we can make sure it is reaching the people who need it most.
Concern works in four key areas: livelihoods, education, health and nutrition and emergencies with a focus throughout each on gender equality and innovations .Our programmes range from micro-finance in Kenya to sexual health training in Sierra Leone, to agricultural support in Niger. If there is a specific programme or place you’re interested in, we would be delighted to speak with you.
We take great pride in our innovative work. Without ongoing philanthropic support, we wouldn’t be able to provide the resources and solutions to reach so many people. If you are interested in talking to us about our major gift programme, or if there is a specific project that you are interested in, contact Hermon from our team.
